Guerrilla Confirms Exciting New Multiplayer Game Set in the Horizon Universe!

Attention all Horizon fans! We've got some exciting news to share with you. Guerrilla, the studio behind the popular machine-hunting series, has confirmed that it is working on a brand new multiplayer game set in the Horizon universe. That's right, you'll soon be able to team up with your friends to explore the majestic wilds of Horizon together.

But that's not all. This new multiplayer game will also feature a new cast of characters and a unique stylized look. It's unclear at this time what roles these characters will play in the game, but we can't wait to find out more.

In a job advertisement post on Twitter, Guerrilla revealed that "a new internal team is developing a separate Online Project set in Horizon's universe." The listing also provided a few more details about the game. The narrative designer is required to "tell a deep, complex story," suggesting that this multiplayer game will have a strong narrative component. The game writer, on the other hand, is asked to "pitch compelling ideas for quests, factions, and backstories," indicating that the game will have similar narrative elements to those seen in the mainline series. And the lead combat designer will be responsible for creating "a variety of enemies (Machines & Humanoids) that focus on exciting combat with cooperative elements."

This news comes on the heels of rumors that a multiplayer Horizon game was in the works. But this is the first time that Guerrilla has officially confirmed such plans. It's clear that the studio is committed to expanding the Horizon universe and giving fans new ways to experience the post-apocalyptic world.

But don't worry, single player fans. Guerrilla is still "continuing to create epic solo adventures for Aloy," so it's safe to assume that a third mainline Horizon game is also in the works.

In the meantime, Horizon fans have something else to look forward to. In February, the PSVR 2 headset will debut with Horizon: Call of the Mountain, a virtual reality game set in the Horizon universe. This will be a completely new way to experience the world of Horizon, and we can't wait to see what Guerrilla has in store for us.

Overall, this is a exciting time for Horizon fans. Not only do we have a new multiplayer game to look forward to, but we also have a virtual reality game on the horizon (pun intended). We can't wait to see what the future holds for the Horizon franchise, and we'll be sure to keep you updated on any new developments.
